Complete Architecture have secured full plans approval for a disabled adaption extension in Carnforth, Lancashire.
The existing property did not suit the specific needs of the family who needed a ground floor bedroom for their disabled son. Complete Architecture worked closely with the child’s occupational therapist to ensure the proposed design was fit for purpose and would ensure the family had a suitable home for years to come.
Three separate applications were submitted to Lancaster City Council; a planning application for the front extension, an application for lawful development for the side extension and a notification of a larger (rear) home extension.
After the relevant permissions was secured, Complete Architecture upgraded the developed design drawings and wrote a specification in preparation for a full plans application. Documentation was produce to demonstrate compliance with current building regulations.
Full plans approval was secured without conditions. Works on site shall be commencing soon.
